Why This Blog Exists
Our mission to protect pets by monitoring the humans who love them.
Welcome to the HugsyAlert blog.
If you're here, you probably know our core directive: "If it tracks the dog, it's noise. If it tracks the human, it's the signal. If it saves the dog, it's the mission."
We built HugsyAlert because we realized that existing pet safety tools were looking in the wrong direction. GPS collars tell you where your dog is, but they don't tell you if you're incapacitated and unable to get home to them.
This blog is a place for us to share:
- Architectural insights into building deterministic safety systems.
- Stories from our community of pet owners and helpers.
- Practical tips for improving your personal safety net.
The Human-First Approach
Most check-in systems feel like a chore. They use rigid timers and military vocabulary. HugsyAlert is different. We use Pattern of Life (CPoL) to understand your day naturally. Whether you're at the gym, running errands, or settling in for the night, HugsyAlert stays in sync with your rhythm.
Thank you for being part of this journey. We're just getting started.
